You Can Help Change What Chemotherapy Feels Like

Every year, up to 500,000 cancer patients in the United States develop nerve damage from the drugs meant to save their lives. We’ve built a device to stop that from happening. Now we need your help to bring it to patients.

Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) is one of the most common, most disabling and least-talked-about side effects of cancer treatment. It causes chronic pain, numbness, and loss of function in the hands and feet. For many patients, it never goes away.

Right now, there is no FDA-approved tratement to prevent it. Oncologists often reduce or stop chemotherapy doses to limit nerve damage, a trade-off that can reduce treatment effectiveness.

That's why we launched a Wefunder campaign for critical investment to bring this life-changing solution to market.

The Soothe® System

Eisana Health has developed the Soothe® System, which is a wearable cooling device that patients can use during chemotherapy infusions and at home. Unlike existing cryotherapy options, it allows patients to remain mobile and functional in both their hands and feet throughout the cooling process.

The Soothe system represents the first device of its kind design to be fully portable, patient-worn, and compatible with real life. The product is:

Clinically supported. Backed by research from oncology experts and National Cancer Institute funding.

Patent-protected. Multiple U.S. and international patents filed.

Patient-designed. Built around mobility and quality of life, not just clinical metrics.

More Than a Mission Investment

We believe in the mission first, but we also believe that solving an unmet medical need for 500,000 patients a year with no current competition in the prevention space is a compelling business opportunity.

Large Addressable Market. Up to $3.5B in potential annual market value for a preventative CIPN device in the U.S. alone.

First-mover Advantage. No FDA-approved device for CIPN prevention currently exists.

Government Validation. National Cancer Institute funding confirms the scientific foundation.

Experienced Leadership. Founded and led by Dr. Carole Spangler Vaughn, with deep oncology product development experience.

Community Round. Wefunder's Regulation structure allows both accredited and non-accredited investors to participate starting at $100.

About Our Founder

Dr Carole Vaughn,

Cancer Survivor

Dr Carole Spangler Vaughn brings more than 25 years of life sciences experience, inclyding a PhD in Biophysics, an MBA, and a career launching oncology products. She also brings first-hand, personal experience of understanding cancer when her 2017 Stage 2b breast cancer diagnosis made her a patient.

Despite her clinical knowledge, she was unprepared for the reality of treatment. What surprised her most wasn't the side effects themselves, it was the learning that some of the most devastating ones could be prevented.

Motivated by her family and frustrated by the lack of innovation being applied to treatement side effects, she founded Eisana Health.

Patients deserve better, and she built a company and product to prove it.
